The biggest post that went viral for me — with over 1.2 million views — was my marriage update.

Having spent 5 years sharing my thoughts here and connecting with so many well-wishers, I genuinely felt that I had friends on LinkedIn too. So, I decided to share one of the most important updates of my life.

That’s it. I never thought it would go viral after I posted it.

Some people were genuinely happy for me, while others debated whether such personal updates should even be shared on LinkedIn.

Honestly, my focus was only on the people who have been a part of my network for years. But the post reached far beyond — to audiences who didn’t even know me.

And yes, with that came a few mean comments and unnecessary judgments.

But one thing I realized is — once you are born on this earth and start living, people will form opinions about you.
Sometimes good, sometimes bad.

Instead of trying to control people’s opinions:
Sharpen your focus on what you want from life
Stay rooted in your value system
Surround yourself with genuine people — not only those who follow the status quo
Evolve through every challenge

Yes, it’s easier said than done.
But what other option do we have apart from developing a thick skin?

It’s okay to fall and rise again. 🌱
